4 Months Old

I guess I made this and never posted it! Whoops! Here it is...

Colton is getting to be very photogenic. He smiles every time I pull out the camera! His 4 month check up was on the 1st, and boy is he a biggin'! 17lbs 12oz and 25.5in. The shots hurt him for about a minute. He is such a trooper! Thanks Noni, for coming with us. (It was mostly for me, the cry baby) :)

3 Months Old

Time flys by when your having fun! Colton is talking, smiling, rolling, and giggling all of the time. He is such a happy lil' guy and we love him so much!

2 Months Old

This was a fun month because Colton smiled all the time! It's funny how his face can be so serious one second, and then you turn around and he starts giggling away! Oh, and he sure packed on the cute chubbiness this month! Dee and Noni went with us to a photo shoot to catch those cute giggles and rolls.

Mommies and Babies!

Finally all the babies are here! Bryson William DeLeon was born July 28th, Colton Jason Collier was born August 1st, and Justice Marley Thompson was born September 12th. Sorry the picture is so blurry. We were happy to show off our little ones!

The Rabel Wedding

Our good friends, Becky and Brad, were married on October 10th at the Hoffman Ranch in Castroville. Jason and I really enjoyed being apart of their special day. Everything was beautiful, and the weather was perfect! Here are a few pics...

1 Month Old

The first few weeks of Colton's life went by SO fast. We enjoyed every minute watching Colton familiarize himself with his new surroundings and form a close bond with his Mommy and Daddy. We are so blessed!

We're Back!

Wow, do I need to update this thing or what!? Thanks to my wonderful husband, I will be back to blogging regularly. Jason bought me a laptop for my birthday! It was just too much work to have to move Colton and all of his toys upstairs to the computer room every time I wanted to log on. Now I can blog in the comfort of our downstairs playground. ;) I apologize in advance for the many posts I am about to display, but we need to catch up!

Colton Jason Collier

Colton was born on August 1st, 2009 at 12:10AM. He weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and was 20in long. He is the cutest little guy and we love him more than anything! Jason and I went in for my 39 week check up on July 31st, and my doctor decided she wanted to induce due to my blood pressure being too high. We headed to the hospital around 11:30AM. The nurse started the pitocin at 1:00pm. The contractions started right away, but I waited until 5:00pm to get my epidural. Everything felt great until 9:00pm when the epidural started to wear off. I received a second dose, and everything seemed to be great again. 40 minutes later I went from no pain, to the worst pain of my life! I could feel every horrible contraction and was fully dilated and ready to push. I was very emotional for the next couple of hours. We had to wait on the anesthesiologist, who was in a c-section. He finally arrived around 11:00PM to re-administer the epidural. This man saved my life! We were wondering if Colton was going to be a July or August baby. I started pushing right after everything kicked in, and our baby boy arrived at 12:10AM. August 1st it is! Although my labor was tough for a few hours, I would do it all over again for our little guy. He is perfect and we are head over heels in love. We are truly blessed!

Baby Shower

Aunt Cami & Aunt Lesley hosted a beautiful baby shower for me and Colton a couple of weekends ago...I know I'm late to post!!! The decorations were cowboy cute, and the food was excellent! We are very blessed to have such a great family!

33, 32, & 26 Weeks Pregnant!

Colton's Lil' Cowboy Room!

With help from Uncle Jim, Aunt Elaine, Grandpa Steve, and Grandma Terri we've almost finished Colton's room! All we have left to do is hang art, find cushions for the glider, and make rope art. Yes, Jason and I have decided we want to try and make the rope art instead of ordering it. We figure we can do anything after the chair rail project! :) Here are some before and after pictures...

31 Weeks

I can't believe I only have 9 weeks left! I can't wait to meet our lil' guy! Here are some belly pictures and a survey!

• How far along?: 31 Weeks
• Total weight gain: 15lbs.
• How big is baby?: Over 3lbs. & 18 inches long!
• Maternity clothes?: Yep, but I am growing out of them fast! I have been wearing dresses for the past week.
• Stretch marks?: Just 2 on my side...hopefully it stays that way!
• Sleep?: Besides the frequent potty trips, I've done better now that I can sleep in.
• Best moment this week?: Hearing baby's heartbeat on Wednesday.
• Movement?: Tons of pushing & bouncing around... especially at night. I LOVE it!
• Food cravings?: Chocolate chip cookies...yuuummmm!
• Labor signs?: I get the braxton hicks contractions every now and then.
• Belly button in or out?: It's still in, but it is getting very shallow!
• What I miss: Sleeping on my back.
• What I'm looking forward to: Finishing Colton's room!
• Milestone: I now have bi-weekly doctor's appointments!
  

Danielle & Gary's Wedding

The last Hoxie girl was married on May 16th, 2009. My big sis looked stunning! They had a small wedding ceremony on the San Antonio River Walk, followed by a delicious dinner at a small italian restaurant. It was a blast, and we absolutely love Gary's family!
